“‘Impossible’ is Simply a State of Mind
If we can find the patience to see the world for what it is – dynamic, flexible, and loaded with untapped potential – and if we can accept the fact that change is an inevitable and brilliant part of life, then we can partake in the thrill of progression, and help shape a world in which the impossible becomes possible…Impossibility only exists when we lack the proper knowledge and experience to comprehend how something can be possible.”
The past few days haven’t been the best for the space field and space habitation. It seems everyday this dream is more and more impossible. But it was never easy. The quantities involved with pulling off have always space settlement are mind boggling.
I really wasn’t going to write a post today, then I found this article in my Evernote account. Space habitation is possible, there are too many people who put their hearts into space exploration and aerospace for it not to happen. Public opinion can be shifted, education programs can be improved. Nothing that I've complained about is unfixable. Even is NASA has their funding cut, it isn’t unfixable. So, this isn’t impossible and I apologize for making it seem so.
In Case You Skimmed
-None of the obstacles in front of space habitation are unbreakable.
Reactions
-How do we keep the space community motivated while fixing these problems?
-Will the vast majority of the space community get frustrated while these problems mount?
