I was checking around for sources to support my hypothesis for my AP Stat project. I think this graph proves that the public is losing interest in space colonization. I really want to find out what happened halfway through 2004 that caused a spike in interest and why the public lost that interest and why there is a general, downward trend. Hopefully my study in AP Stat can get the answer, but this dim graph does have hope...
This is the view of the last 12 months. It seems space colonization contests can spark some interest in the field. Maybe, one day their can be something like a space colonization X-prize. The resulting media blitz should get the public excited about space habitation.
