So, today I have turned in my final for AP Stat. I can't post the paper since it is a group project, but we found that increased knowledge in space polarizes opinion on space programs. It is very interesting, the less someone knows, the more neutral their opinion is. Before this study, I thought that the less one knows about space, the more they dislike space programs; it seems that anyone who expresses an opinion about a space program knows what they are talking about. I had trouble using the data because I used discreet numbers (e.g. 1,2,3,4) instead of continuous numbers. (I fail at survey design) So, we could not use a scatter plot for our data. Also, because of the low sample size, these results can not be generalized to the population (all humans). In short, I bit off far much more then I could chew. But, when I redo this project in college, it will be alot better. Thank you to the participants for the learning experience...
